The Blackcats lost three players to graduation last year, including IBCA Honorable Mention All-State, All-South and BDC 1st Team All-Conference Captain Nate Webb, but they showed they have plenty of returning firepower as they boast one of the biggest lineups in Southern Illinois. 6'3" Senior Guard Dayton Tripp, an All-South and 1st Team All-Conference player and 6'4" Junior Zeke Snell, a 2nd Team All-Conference player last year, return to lead the defending Black Diamond Conference Champion Blackcats this year along with returning starters seniors Alex Andros (6'5"), J.T Russell (6'3"), and Blake Gray (5'9"). For the Lady Blackcats, who won a school record 29 games last year and as Sectional Champions, a trip to their 2nd consecutive IHSA Supersectional, they lost 3 seniors to graduation including IBCA 4th Team All-State, All-South and 1st Team BDC All-Conference player Shelbey Miller.
